Delegates led by Mr. Tsuneo Saho, Board Chair of DCEFI ( 佐保常夫/國際傑人教育基金 理事長), included Hiroyuki Ishii (石井裕之/株式會社 營業部長; Yoshii Construction Co., Ltd., Japan) and Yutaka Hiraishi, with Mr. Marshall Lin (General Manager of Wayyen Enterprise Ltd., Taiwan) serving as Japanese-Taiwanese translator. The environmental team led by Mr. Hsin-Hang Zhong, President of Blue Formosa Environmental Technology Corp. , Taiwan, consisted of Mr. Yi-Tun Wang
The theme of our talk was to mediate possible business collaboration between BFETC/Taiwan (IIC-incubated company) and Yoshii/Japan (member of DCEFI) in the field of contaminated soil remediation and its reutilization. In the meeting, Prof. Liao first gave a welcome speech and explained the agenda to be followed. Right after this, there's a 13-minute video show introducing Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science. Mr. T. Saho was quite impressed on what we have in CNU, e.g., colleges, facilities, and modern buildings. Following the video show, Prof. Liao briefly introduced the profile of Innovation and Incubation Center, emphasising especially in these aspects such as who we are, what we are, and where we are. This was then followed by the introductions of DCEFI by Mr. T. Saho, Yoshii Company by Mr. H. Ishii and BFTEC by Mr. H.H. Zhong. At this point, both partie
Since our Japanese friends had to catch the scheduled high speed rail train, the meeting was adjourned finally at around 1: 15 pm. By the way, it's only 10 minutes drive from CNU to the nearby HSR station.
Well, what's the next we should act on things we have discussed? Meeting was over, yet things-to-be-done is just beginning. A thought just flashed through my mind. What about we endorse a memorandum of partnership between DCEFI/Japan and IIC-CNU/Taiwan before going down the road ahead?
