Up on the lecturing platform

On November 8, 2008, Dr. Carpenter was invited in a workshop to give a one-day lecturing on traditional Taiwanese architecture. This workshop was hosted by Dr. Chih-Chung Liao (廖志中 博士), Department of Cultural Heritage Conservation, National Yunlin University of Science & Technology, Taiwan. What a coincidence! Dr. C.C. Liao's older brother has exactly the same Chinese name as mine, 廖志祥. And we all are from the same Township, Houbi of Tainan County.

Here are some of photos and video clips taken on that day. Thanks to Dr. C.C. Liao, Dr. Carpenter had such opportunity to pass on his skill to those who are really interested in traditional architecture. Yes, good things should be passed on and on. I am sure Steven and Grace would love to see their grandpa lecturing to those professionals.
